September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance

In support of the September 11 Day of Service and Remembrance, signed into law last year as a part of the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, L.A. Works and our nonprofit community partners are proud to do our part to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 and rekindle the spirit of togetherness and compassion that followed the 2001 terrorist attacks. Projects for hundreds of volunteers ranging from environmental conservation to reading to kids are open for Angelenos who are inspired to honor their community on this weekend through active participation. For a list of projects on or around September 11, please click here.
