| Let's Read - Pueblo Del Rio (May 20 - July 29) |
Agency: Let's Read (Pueblo del Rio)
Description:
Let's Read is a long-term program whose purpose is to provide the kids of Pueblo del Rio with the tools to help them reach their dreams. We work individually and as a group with these kids to help them with school-related materials as well as try to expose them to topics that they may not otherwise be familiar with. If you like kids and wish to develop a relationship with one or a few of them, this is a program that might be for you.
NOTE: PROSPECTIVE VOLUNTEERS IN THIS PROGRAM MUST COMMIT TO THE FULL SESSION (which for Spring, 2006 runs May 20 - July 29 on 10 consecutive Saturday Mornings). IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. YOU MUST TALK WITH DAVID, THE PERSON RUNNING THE PROGRAM, BEFORE JOINING IT.
