What is DOVIA-LA?

DOVIA-LA is a professional membership association for individuals who lead, manage, and recruit volunteers for a diverse range of nonprofit organizations. Members meet bi-monthly to network, build skills, and learn about current issues in the field of volunteer management.

Our Mission:

The mission of Directors of Volunteers in Agencies – Los Angeles (DOVIA-LA) is to provide education, networking and support opportunities that promote excellence in the field of volunteer management.

Our Vision:

The vision of DOVIA-LA is to create a path to professionalism that will enable members to ensure effective and rewarding involvement of volunteers in achieving the goals of our members’ agencies.

Begin by selecting a membership type below. Membership lasts for 1 full year from the date you register.             

Individual Agency Membership 

$60.00 Annually

  • For persons actively involved in the field of volunteer administration (not eligible for Associate Membership).

  • No automatically recurring payments

Additional Agency Membership 

$50 Annually

  • ​For multiple employees managing volunteers in the same agency, the annual membership fees are $60 for the primary contact and $50 for each additional member.

  • No automatically recurring payments

Associate Membership

$25 Annually

  • For individuals supportive of, but not actively involved in, the field of volunteer administration; students; or retired volunteer administrators.

  • No automatically recurring payments
